TRUST & TRANSPARENCY

Terms of Use

The rules for using Trackside Austin and its directory.

Effective / last updated: August 10, 2026

This is a comprehensive operational draft, not legal advice. Have qualified Texas counsel review it before a commercial launch.

Agreement and eligibility

By accessing Trackside Austin, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering a binding agreement.

Directory only; no booking relationship

Trackside Austin is an independent informational directory. We do not own, operate, endorse, represent, employ, or book any listed studio. A link, ranking, comparison, or listing is not a recommendation or guarantee. Any transaction is solely between you and the studio, under the studio’s terms.

Accuracy and acceptable use

Rates, availability, addresses, amenities, equipment, policies, accessibility, reviews and other facts can change. Verify all material information directly. You may use the site for lawful personal or internal business research. You may not scrape at scale, disrupt security, submit false information, impersonate others, infringe rights, or use the service to spam.

Submissions and licenses

You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant Trackside Austin a worldwide, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, edit, verify and display it for operating and promoting the directory. You warrant that you are authorized to submit it and that it is accurate, lawful and nonconfidential. We may reject, edit or remove any listing at our discretion.

Intellectual property and third parties

Trackside Austin branding, compilation, design and original text are protected by law. Studio names and marks belong to their owners. Google Maps, reviews and linked services are operated under their own terms and privacy policies. No affiliation or endorsement is implied.

Disclaimers and liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS, TITLE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRACKSIDE AUSTIN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, PROPERTY DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR DISPUTES WITH A STUDIO. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so they apply only to the extent lawful.

Indemnity, changes and governing law

You agree to defend and indemnify Trackside Austin from claims arising from your misuse, submission, or violation of law or these Terms. We may update or discontinue the service and revise these Terms prospectively by posting a new effective date. Texas law governs, without regard to conflicts rules; exclusive venue is in state or federal courts serving Travis County, Texas, unless consumer law requires otherwise. Invalid terms are severed; the remainder survives.

Claims, talent profiles and owner updates

A claim is a request for editorial verification, not proof of identity, licensure, employment, credentials, availability or quality. We may approve, reject, re-review or revoke a claim and may retain independent editorial material alongside owner-supplied information.

Approved claimants are responsible for keeping their public updates accurate and for holding all rights and permissions needed for names, credits, portfolio links, photographs and other submitted material. Do not submit confidential client information, unreleased recordings, access credentials, payment information or material you are not authorized to publish.
